Hellgate Global skills
« on: June 11, 2011, 11:20:44 AM »
Hello.

I tried to read skills parameters from Hellgate London with Reanimator 1.1.1. I got it :)

I tried the same with Hellgate Global - Reanimator 1.1.1 crashed :(

I tried the same (Global) with Reanimator 1.1.0. Skills.txt in same place, but "currently loaded tables" does not contain such record :-/ I can unpack skills.txt, but can't read .cooked file.

Can you help me with getting skills parameters from Hellgate Global?

I'm looking forward to a Reanimator release for Hellgate Global, good news! ;)

Will it be possible to replace/mix all possible crappy HGG textures with the old ones (and keep the new ones from HGG) to get high textures again?

seems that most tcv4 skills are better designed than global ones... and according to some player from the HGL japanese server, they said that some skills are even better balanced there. such as throw shield, they had it like this, when level 5, you could throw 2 shields, while in level 10 it up to 3. this is possible with reanimator to import it into singleplayer, and i had already done that :)

Are you some kind of god? It is sure nice to know there is another highly motivated person on this planet working on the Single Player game. Applause! Bravo!

Modding Global isn't supported because we don't want to risk ruining relationships the devs have with T3. They probably wouldn't approve of people messing with their game until/unless they specify otherwise, or until the devs deem it safe to do so.

More like hanabitsoft not T3... as T3 are purely the publishers and they do no dev work. All of that is done by hanabit. T3 just pass along suggestions and it's down to hanabit what they decide to implement. This is just as far as I know though.

IDC, just as long as they hire someone to get the DX10 textures back in the game... I sure miss the shiny stuff from SP  :'(.
