Restart with new Char needed for Dyekits?

Hello,

I've installed the Revival Mod 1.21. Everything works fine but I never got an Dyekit since more than 12 Levels
Is it normal ? Did I have to create an new Char?

Heya Jay,welcome aboard.
I'm afraid you'll have to create a new character to receive the 2 starter dye kits,but dye kits that are boss drops should still drop normally for your character.From then on getting one to drop is just luck.

The 2 starter dye kits don't actually provide anything apart from color anyway,so I wouldn't bother making a new character just for them.You could always do to check them out though

You should try 1.5b as I got much better Unique dyekits from bosses in 1.5b

I think you should be able to transfer anything in your inventory with Reanimator. The installation of 1.5b is almost exactly the same as installing 1.2.1, except that you'll need to install an additional fix unless you enjoy opening empty chests all the time

i got a black knight dye kit using an old char with 1.5b1. Just the one dye kit has dropped tho. If you use 1.5b1 Make sure you have the chest fix installed too because nothing will drop without it.  You can find it on page 4 of this thread at the bottom under one of my posts.

I played 1.2.1 a lot and never saw a dye kit but that doesn't mean they dont drop, they are just rare.

does the chestfix work with 1.2?

1.2 does not have the chest bug and so you wouldn't need to use it unless you upgrade to the 1.5b.
