Anybody has a test version HGL?

i believe that most of you has seen a cool minigun in some earlier test version HGL videos: the hyperslicer. but for some unknown reasons it was removed.
now within the game database, its model is still there but the .dds graphs are missing :( so if i simply actvate it, i would have a rifle unseenable, totally transparent...
i also downloaded the demo version HGL and had it analyzed, but still, no such gun's graphs...
perhaps the only hope would be found in some test versions even earlier than the demo. does anybody have one? if some one has, please open the data files (most likely "hellgate000.idx)  with reanimator, search folder data\units\items\weapons\hyperslicer, and unpack everything inside then PM me and send them to me, they would be very helpful t ome

Apparently, by this topic about it, it appears ingame completely grey.

While it kinda looks like a minigun, it only has a fire rate of about 60rpm. Judging form its position inside of the table next to Wart's Leg) and its other values (cannot be augmented/destroyed/modded/no character class requirement...) it looks like this weapon was meant to be a special quest item similar to the Cleanser...

That gun looks so badass. Anyway to put it in game or change damage?

cannot believe it launches spectral shards... so strange :o

At least it is not like God's Hand. (Think that was the name of it..) It was a two handed gun for Templars... It shot out spectral bolts as well but there was no gun.

The only 2h weapon ever available to Templars in the game no less,even if it did...lack a model lol.And I swear Templars could equip Volt Rifles,2h Harp weapons and Heavy Rifles in the comics  ???

Just curious and no idea if it is possible, but if you have the graphics files for this I'd be interested to see if I can get a texture file to work for it. Whether the game would use the files I've no idea, but it would be an interesting something to try.

Only got very basic knowledge of the texture files, but I know that it is possible to get away with some very rough work and still get a semi ok result with textures.

If the diffuse.dds happens to exist then "in theory" a texture should be not too hard to create...though it's been quite a time since I last did this due to RL so not sure how much I remember.

true, we would require a uv map to reskin it. we havn't made any tools for 3d assets yet

Guessed it wouldn't be that simple. Saw a mention of diffuse file and got carried away. Just found my unpacked files and I see what you mean. Nothing to start with...well nothing  that I know how to use anyway.

I'll stop wasting your time and go back to lurking ???

are weapon textures in this game are all the same size in pixels? if so, there's simple but boring and not so precise method(tried once just to see what part of creature i had to paint): draw numbers n words on a clean texture n se in game what it will be. every texture file has some kind of name format, so for this one it just has to be pu into right directory n named correctly. will it work?
in case of panic, break the glass, exit through the window.
