« on: January 15, 2012, 10:40:01 AM »
I want to learn which game is better ?

Hellgate: London or Hellgate: Global ?

Really hard to have a objective answer to this...
The most important point is that Global is online but London/Revival is single player only wich make a HUGE difference for a lot of people.

Global : - pros : online, a lot more content (SH, Abyss and the whole Tokyo zone). I don t add 2nd attack "extension" as it s the most painfull thing we have ever seen in this game.

-cons : You ll have to endure a crazy shit load of bugs all day long. Server is a joke, game will crash, DC etc...They will never be fixed.
You ll have to pay for a lot of aspects that make the game fun. Paying to safely have a chance to remove your mods of a weapon is the worst thing for me. You ll have a tiny inventory and stash.

For the vanilla Hellgate, feel free to try if you like the core gameplay and get used to it, you ll have hours of (solo) fun. The Revival mods highly enhanced the experience and the anticipated Nagahaku mod will bring buckets of fresh air.

Online version would be fun but not with plenty of bugs and game crashes.
By the way, i'm nowadays happy with the original version.
The revival modification stands as a hope on future which i do not have on global version.

A question is: will sp revival modification allow players/developers in future to host their own private multiplayer sessions by managing access like a LAN?
^^

No. Not unless someone like maeyan shows up on the scene who is willing to port the entire game to a new engine, or has the godly skills to rewrite flagships code to include server support. Not likely, not soon, I wouldn't hold your breath.
SquidlordBetty - Evoker Interruptus - 51/8
BunnyHuntress - Saw Drone Engi - 55/3
OneEyedTracy - BM - 41
HellenaHanbasket - Elemental Summoner - 51/2
SistrBubbles - Guardian - 40

Let's go bum tugging!

If i understand your post right kyon, you want a very basic patch that will only fix the original game but make no further changes. The Mods around here only improve on the base game rather than just fix it.

the closest you are gonna get to "more close to original game" is one of the original Revival releases found here at the bottom: http://www.hellgateaus.net/forum/hellgate-london-modification-downloads/

http://www.hellgateaus.net/forum/hellgate-london-modification-downloads/revival-sp-modification-1-2-1/
adds dye kits and some other nice chages like bigger stash.

If you want more "vanilla" take a look at earlier releases, maybe one of those will be to your liking like "stable" or "pre release"

Most of true but missed in some points like this ,
I like extra contents like Abbys or more fixes or game balance changes . But another hand like bigger stash . It's an optional mod for me . This is the difference for me :)
