My Build:

Pretty much the standard today i think, http://www.hellgateaus.net/planner/#Evoker,55,50,6,v1.00001a1003aa0000000a000070a0000000 but with 6 additional skillpoints, and i got +6 tempest on my Morax´s.

My Items can be seen ingame, inspect Sanchi... But its mostly standard, too. Veiled, Balbis, Morax with dmg and crit multi/dmg, the new unique pants and shoulders...

Stats is somethin like that:
acc: ~150
str: ~ 70 (all from gear)
sta: ~200
wil: ~230

3 Evokers total so far across 2 accounts

The easiest by far has been the cookie cutter Bone//Flame

The most fun has been mass splash build (+11 skill points 10/10 Hellfire. Swarm, Lighting Field)

The hardest and will eventually be deleted is pure sperctral.

The only evoker which doesn't run Full critical gear is the splash build, yes the splash build sucks at killing single targets comapared to demonspine/flameshards/hellfire, but it Makes up for it when you Solo Hell to Occulis in 6 minutes while doing total level clears at all 15 stages with 2 skills.

For critical evokers your best gears will be, Balbi's Ring, Veiled Threat, any 5 set pieces which MUST include the Shoulders.  Run with high critical damage (+750% is decent, but not great) and you should own everything in your path.

mine is still a newbie at the moment, but i have to ask, "are you guys using the will-based build or the acc-based?"

and if that sounds silly, i'm still trying to figure out some builds and saw those in the evoker v.2  guide posted.

running my evoker is a lot more different from my summoner than i thought it would be. i'm incredibly squishier, and i always feel like i'm backing up to kill stuff every time i pull. maybe it's b/c i'm still only 10'ish and don't have much in the way of survivability. i was tempted to get brom's curse or afterlife, but most builds i see don't really have any points in them (i'm assuming that's b/c they're just optimized for dmg at 50+, and not so much for survivability).

so far i've put the majority of my points into acc.

Harrowing, I'm glad to see you've tried the other builds. I thought about doing something that was toxic-based for the DoT's but so far I haven't seen many people that found it viable.

Really Once level 20 is reached you should have 4 points into either Arcane shield or Venom armor.  Personally Arcane shield is enough for me because of 3 reasons.

#1 I rarely play the game *solo* anymore, I am not the tank Shields are enough for most everything
#2 In Normal and Nightmare Arcane shield at 8~10/10 should be enough to survive any direct hit from a boss Excluding these 2, (Belial//Berial, Imotehp)  If your hit with their melee attacks its gonna be over my Evoker with maxed armor and shields ( 72% Dr// 5200 shields// 2200 hp) gets knocked to 168 hp from Imhotep.  I haven't run Belial in a while, but I remember he was really tough 2.

#3 The Timeout duration on venom armor and its duration are perfect for a gear swap, I got mine around level 20ish from *the WURM* don't need them for anything else, and it saves you 6 skill points.

And Finally Any build which relies on concentrate damage is while not stuipd its close to borderline.  you jsut can never really stand still in this game.

At around 55/20~30 once your stats are sorted out and your assembling final gear you should see your gonna have at least 60~80 *free attirbuttes* to spend.  If you run with critical gear it obviously goes into accuracy.  Really REALLY at all costs avoid spending points until your start assembling final gear  (Balbi's Veiled should be first as they will be the easist for a newcomer with low cash to find).

Cookie-Cutter: Put 9 points in standard spell so far because i try get +1 skills item, dont know if this is good/possible, but its no prob to respecc and max out things dependent on gear changes

Gear is +aa +stat -powercost +manareg -cooldown +elemdef Legendaries from 41+ lvl range. Already having a Veiled Thread with +aa +will +crit +critdmg +powerreg -cd -costs, pretty much perfect and it costs me 13k from marketplace oO

My foci were forbidden cores +4, but i deal no dmg anymore with lvl 50, so they are replaced by 2 >Killing Fields for levelling ranks on lvl 50/x. When hitting rank 30 i will stop ranking and proceed to lvl 55 i think. To be honestly i can't even think about SH 1st room without puking anymore. So when getting to 51/20 i will buy some Slayers from another world and pimp them a little for getting ready to farm Morax'.

The main problem of arcane shield is now Tokyo...and those onis ^^ They put off your shield in a single hit even with 5K +.

For Concentrate damage, i thought it would b impossible to stand without moving but it s not ! Except for Imothep, you can stay under CD 10 without moving on all bosses.

I m waiting servers to come back online and i ll post some pics/explanations of my current setup to see what you think about it.

Problem with +1 skill helmets is the really high feed (~50 acc). You really dont need the +1 helmet, maybe you can optimize this with 55/50.

Problem in Tokyo i see also, mobs dye fast but do high amounts of damage.

I tryed CD beofre i respeced, but i found it disturbing because im used to move all the time (= But its possible to use it, esp. if your on a boss with a tank in front of you. I will go for it with extra points or augments later.

@django : no need to put 10 hard points into CD. The best is to find foci with 5 on each but it s damn rare. I put 4 points into it and i fast swap for a +6 for bosses.

I am not a friend of swap-sets, really dont like it (= if i cant get it on my main set, i dont need it...
But its right, you could swap CD and VA and Tempest too, but i dont.

.     OK, as promised, here's the main points of interest of my Evoker. I don t pretend to have the best setup/build or whatever. It s just the current setting i enjoy playing with since 2 weeks.

I have +14 on skills atm. I need 3 more lucky skill expander to complete my template for 10 on Hellfire, Venom Armor and Skullsplitter.

I put points into VA because i don t want to swap to have it. I only use it as an emergncy button for Belial and Natan, as it s mostly the only place is use VA.

I still didn t manage to get a usefull aug on this belt, i wish a +AA or +%HPB but i already failed nearly 8 of these .



Same as Balbi's, i never had luck on aug and i bought this one for 10M -_- . 6 aa and a useless skill but better than nothing.



A must have for any Crit evo i think. I want a max stat one but they re still expensive.



The only time augmentrex gave me something good so far. I obviously want a +10AA,13acc,13 will but heh not to fast ^^



And finally, my Focus . Nothing to shiny here once again but i never dropped one in like 200+ Natan kill. The flailing one come from cube and the other and the other to, when i mixed 2 thunderclash and a failed glyph
All mods are +2% crit/ +3/4% ele dmg excpet one with 2% crit+ 20 shield penetration. I aim the +9% ele dmg / 2% crit on each mods but without more AA on stuff it won t be possible even at rank 50 . As you can see, i m pretty short on points and in accuracy fataly.





Necklace and bracer are the +5 AA ones and i wear a Black Knight.

My big question at the moment is to know if it would be better to replace pant/gloves and boots for low cost stat whores legendaries to get more free points to put into accu to improve my crit dmg. With th ones i have in bank, i can reach 177 free stat points more and go to 1084 crit dmg iirc. But i will have only 68% crit chance instead of the current 72% i have.
I m not a big fan of crit chance multiplier against a said caste of mobs. I prefer blasting ALL of them instead of only beasts or demons ^^
I ll maybe do a test but i need to loot more attributs retrainers

Does anyone know why the fu these Killing Fields have such terrible feeds? its a full 100 Will for every single one and i can hardly mod them because i am missing attr-points...

You should do all side quests from main game to get max attribute points for your level/rank.
In addition use gear with low feeds or dont use mods until you can. If you cant do sh on nm without mods, you should do it on normal mode until you have some more ranks.

I dont know, but i used the killing fields as soon as i could and they worked good in sh.
